Punchdagger -- Arsenal Ship
Drayquin Design

As one of the original arsenal ship designs, now in its fourth revision, the Punchdagger is designed to move quickly and deliver massive firepower to outmanoeuvre and cripple larger ships. They include sparse accommodation and light defences but are often choice assignments due to carrying the latest equipment and most devastating weapons.
Punchdaggers are often chosen to act as weapon systems test beds for the Core Commonwealth or showcase vessels for new technologies of the Bjaki Federation.
Their electronics are generally state of the art and designed to detect first and farthest and maximize damage against large targets.
The Punchdagger was instrumental in the rapid initial growth of Drayquin Designs as it was part of a four-ship development project that saw vast funding flow in from the Bjaki Federation and Core Commonwealth. Both empires assumed they would be the sole recipient of the design upon completion. Both were wrong. The Punchdagger, four generations later, continues to be a key heavy platform for both starfleets and a steady flow of development revenue for Drayquin.
