"Valendia - The
Invasion"
Currently, the main focus of
our Black Admiral game development group will be a highly
interactive and highly expandable single-player game. We
refer to it as a "FPS" but it will be much more
like a "first person interactive adventure" than a first
"person shooter".
We're dedicated to developing
an exceptional gaming experience with a reasonable
development curve. We want it to be expandable, so it can
grow with our imagination. We want it to be highly
interactive so it will inspire your imagination.
Features:
--highly expandable, high replayability
--detailed background, captivating setting
--multiple storylines, multiple endings
--your choices drive the story, not the other way
--multiplayer co-op and deathmatch modes
--character class changes the whole game
--cool weapons!
--cool implants and personal nano-upgrades!
--change the world!
--enemies allocate resources to intercept you
--cities will fall or rally to action with you
--interact with objects and equipment
--your choices affect who will live and die
Intro to the Valendia
RPG |
"Syzygy"
The MMOG was the
first game idea we conceived and a major source of
inspiration and motivation for us. We're on our second
serious setting revision slowly putting together a design
doc.
What do you need to put
together a good MMOG?
-- a huge, detailed setting
--multiple, interwoven, involving stories
--tons of art assets
--innovative game and level design
--innovative coding
--a large, dedicated team
--an exceptional engine and hosting
--money, marketing, and customer support
And the list goes on. All the
lovely MMOG design programs out there notwithstanding, we
don't think our team or the industry are there yet. We
aren't giving up the dream or the design, we're just
focusing on "building our chops" in other areas,
in particular the FPS, until reality catches up with the
creative juices sloshing around our
brains. It's kind of like George Lucas with those extra bits
in Star Wars, except worth it.
The design doc will grow, the
assets will grow, and Saleen will come to life. But not for
awhile. Those interested in the slow, realistic development
of exceptional indie games should contact
us.
